For our client, of the largest and best known law firms in Luxembourg with a strong track record, we are looking for a
Fully qualified Lawyer (“Rechtsanwalt”) under German law with experience in Luxembourg laws (m/f) – (Banking & Finance / Corporate / Funds)
in Luxembourg.
Your responsibilities:
- Member of the German Desk
- Be in charge of advising high-profile (mainly) German clients on a variety of legal (Banking & Finance / Corporate / Funds) matters
- Work independently in close cooperation with the Head of the German Desk with the support of a team of lawyers and administrative staff
- Guide and supervise more junior colleagues
- Represent the Firm towards its clients and the different banking / fund associations, be it in Luxembourg or in Germany
- Participate in the dedicated practice groups and the knowledge sharing through the Firm
- Be actively involved in the Firm’s business development in Luxembourg and abroad
Your profile:
- German law studies (1. & 2. State Exams) – “Rechtsanwalt” title
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Luxembourg’s laws (B&F / Corporate / Funds)
- Ambitious and reliable personality
- Committed to high-quality work
- Team leader skills
- Be at ease in an international and multicultural environment
- Comfortable with business development and client relationships management
- Fluent in German and English (French being an asset)
